How can I obtain commercial rights to works created under the Free Plan?

Free work remixed during a paid subscription: The remixed version belongs to you and may be used commercially; however, the original free version still does not include commercial use rights or copyright ownership. Paid work remixed after the subscription ends: As long as the original track was generated during an active paid subscription, you permanently retain ownership and commercial use rights.

What can a Copyright Certificate be used for?

A Copyright Certificate can be used to verify ownership, support copyright claims or appeals, support business partnerships, contracts, or registrations, and provide proof when requested by a platform or partner. Without copyright ownership, a work may become ineligible for monetization, be removed, and be difficult to appeal. The core value of copyright is legal protection and risk management; it does not guarantee that a work will be released or approved by a platform.

Platforms such as Meta, Spotify, SoundCloud, and Peloton commonly use automated content-recognition systems such as Audible Magic and Content ID to detect similarity patterns, assess risk, and apply their own compliance rules. Approval depends on each platform's policies, automated detection results, and human-review standards. These systems are used only for platform review and cannot determine legal copyright ownership, copyright validity, or whether infringement has occurred. Therefore, a work being flagged or rejected does not mean that its copyright is invalid.

Valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. Remaining membership credits are forfeited upon membership expiration or refund. Top-up Credits: Purchased by paid subscribers. Valid for 360 days from the date of purchase. Not tied to membership status. Non-refundable. Credits cannot be exchanged for subscription time, transferred to another account, or redeemed for cash. Expiration reminders: The Usage popup shows eligible bonus or purchased credits expiring within the next 7 days (Daily Credits are not included). Check your balance regularly to avoid expiration. Deduction order: Credits expiring soonest are used first. The default order is Daily Credits → Event Credits → Membership Credits → Top-up Credits.

Creative chat: Regular text-only conversations consume only a small number of credits. Usage may vary depending on the selected text model, conversation length, task complexity, and context history. Music creation: Credits power the entire music creation workflow, including file analysis and task processing, music composition planning, lyrics generation, web search and research, and final music generation. Music video (MV) creation: Credit usage depends on the number of keyframes generated, generation attempts and iterations, and the final MV generation. Consumption is also affected by the length and complexity of your input, the size of uploaded files, the number of conversation rounds, and context depth. You can open the Model menu in the chat box and select Music, Image, Video, or Text to view the estimated credit consumption for different features and models. Simple rule: more complex tasks and richer content require more credits.

How many songs and music videos can I create with my credits?

The number depends on your available credit balance, the selected model, the generation task and settings, and the length of the song or music video. Credits are consumed based on the model and the songs, characters, keyframes, and video clips you generate.During the creation process, you will see a notice when an action will consume credits.

Registering multiple accounts may trigger Tunee's risk-control policy, in which case Daily Credits will not refresh. If you have not registered multiple accounts, please refresh the page and check your balance again.

How can I get more credits? Can I buy them separately?

You can subscribe to or upgrade a paid plan, purchase additional credits separately, or join occasional community events to earn bonus credits.

Will failed generations or retry clips consume credits?

Tunee does not deduct credits for failed generations. Check the credit-usage details in the top-right corner — a failed attempt should not appear as a deduction. If a retry successfully creates a new result, it may be treated as a new generation task and may consume credits based on the selected model and settings.

How can I downgrade my subscription?

Accepted Answer

Direct downgrades are not currently supported. For example, to move from Plus to Basic, cancel renewal of Plus first. After cancellation, the current plan remains active until the billing cycle ends, and you can subscribe to the lower-tier plan only after that cycle ends.

How are fees and credits calculated after upgrading my subscription?

Upgrading on the web usually only requires paying the price difference. Credits are issued immediately after payment, and future renewal dates are recalculated from the upgrade date. Subscriptions are billed in advance based on your selected billing period and automatically renew at the current price. Your payment method is charged at the start of each new term. To prevent future renewals, cancel anytime via "Profile Picture → Credits → Usage → Manage → Subscription Info → Cancel renewal".

Go to "Profile Picture → Manage Account → Usage → Manage" to find and download invoices. Your invoice is also automatically sent to the email address used during purchase. To change the billing name shown on future invoices, go to "Profile Picture → Credits → Usage → Manage → Billing Information → Manage" and click "Update information".

What is Tunee's refund policy? How can I request a refund?

To request a refund, please submit your request through "Feedback" in Tunee. Refund request timeframe: Users in the EU, Turkey, or the UK may request a subscription cancellation and refund within 14 days of purchase; when submitting, clearly state that you are applying under EU, Turkish, or UK consumer protection regulations. In other countries and regions, monthly and annual memberships accept refund requests within 7 days of purchase. Individual song copyright purchases are non-refundable. How the refund amount is calculated: If no credits have been used, you will receive a full refund minus applicable payment processing fees. If 1–80% of your membership subscription credits have been used, the refund is calculated based on the proportion of unused credits, minus applicable payment processing fees. If usage exceeds 80%, Tunee is unable to provide a refund. Important notes: All refunds are subject to deduction of payment processing fees, including Stripe fees and handling charges. Approved refunds are returned via your original payment method within approximately 7 business days. Upon refund approval, corresponding membership benefits and remaining credits will be revoked. Refund requests may be denied if your account shows abnormal activity or violates Tunee's terms of service.

Usually not. Credits are a digital virtual service and are generally non-refundable once purchased or consumed. AI-generated results may vary between attempts. Differences in quality or prompt interpretation are common across AI tools and are not considered system errors.However, if credits were lost due to a confirmed system crash, server error, or technical failure, you can submit a review request through "Feedback".

How can I delete my account?

Go to "Profile Picture → Manage account → Edit Profile → Delete". Confirm the warning, select "Permanently delete my account", and click "Delete My Account". Account deletion is permanent and removes all account data, songs, credits, and remaining plan benefits.

Where can I find the music, videos, and projects I've created?

The "Videos" page only shows content created from that page. To see all your works, open "Projects" or "Library" from the left sidebar. To continue editing, find the work in the library, click "…" on the right, and select "Open in Project".

I'm not sure how to use Tunee — what should I do?

Just tell Tunee your goal in natural language, for example "put these lyrics into the chorus" or "make an upbeat summer pop song". The more specific your description, the more accurately Tunee can guide you or complete the task for you.

Lyrics that are only uploaded may be treated as a reference. State it clearly in your prompt, for example "use my uploaded lyrics exactly", "do not rewrite the lyrics", or "keep the lyrics unchanged and compose music for them".

Tunee actively explores multiple creative directions. For more consistent results, point out the specific version, style, vocals, and arrangement direction you like, then continue generating along that direction.

What's the difference between One-Click MV, Free Creation, Motion Control, and Shorts?

One-Click MV is great for getting started quickly; Free Creation gives you fuller creative control; Motion Control lets characters replicate the movements of a 5–30 second reference video; Shorts automatically extracts highlight clips from your song to create short videos. If it's your first time, we recommend starting with One-Click MV.

What are the audio upload requirements for creating an MV?

MP3, WAV, AAC, and AIFF are supported; files can be up to 20MB and 10 seconds to 10 minutes long. For better MV results, keep the audio between 10 seconds and 5 minutes.

How do I create AI characters? Can I use multiple characters in one MV?

You can clone your own likeness, design a character from scratch with text, or upload an existing character image. A single video supports up to 5 characters. We recommend saving character assets first and reusing them across scenes for better consistency.

Can I edit the MV after it's generated?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can regenerate scenes, adjust the story and shots at the storyboard stage, edit lip-sync and individual shots, and drag, trim, split, or delete clips and adjust subtitles in the video editor. Audio editing is not supported yet.

What resolutions does Tunee support? How is HD upscaling billed?

MVs are generated at 720P by default. You can upscale to 1080P (2.5 credits/second), 2K (3 credits/second), or 4K (4 credits/second). The total cost equals the video length in seconds multiplied by the per-second rate.

Why is there a watermark on my video? Can it be removed?

Accepted Answer

MVs generated on the free plan carry a Tunee watermark; MVs generated on paid plans have no watermark. After editing, enable "No watermark" when exporting to download.
